USDA-DOE AFFIRM MID-RANGE ETHANOL BLENDS IN "NATIONAL BIOFUELS ACTION PLAN"

The U.S. Departments of Ag and Energy have today announced their "National Biofuels Action Plan," part of which affirms mid-range ethanol blends as "representing a critical pathway" to reducing our nation's dependence on fossil fuel-based gasoline and achieving the President's Twenty in Ten Initiative (20% reduction in gasoline consumption 10 years).
In addition, the DOE's national laboratories have released a study on the successful use of mid-range ethanol blends in vehicles and in small engines.
