ACE APPLAUDS GOVERNORS' LETTER TO PRESIDENT CALLING FOR ACTION ON E10 BLEND WALL, OTHER KEY ISSUES
POSTED: FEB 20, 2009

The American Coalition for Ethanol (ACE), the nation's largest ethanol advocacy organization, today praised a letter written by the Governors' Biofuels Coalition (GBC) to President Obama calling for action on a number of key biofuel-related issues.

"We applaud the Governors' Biofuels Coalition for reaching out to President Obama and emphasizing the need for action on key biofuel issues," said Brian Jennings, Executive Vice President of ACE. "Overcoming the fast-approaching E10 blend wall would indeed immediately expand the marketplace for domestically produced ethanol, and expanding the availability of flexible fuel vehicles would allow more American motorists to take advantage of the benefits of higher ethanol blends. These are critical issues which deserve action today."
